Therefore, God will come in judgment on the nation’s idols, for they have turned a part of God’s creation into something that God hates. They have produced stumbling blocks for the well-being of humans, a trap set to spring when the feet of the foolish step on it.
Therefore there shall be no respect had even to the idols of the Gentiles: because the creatures of God are turned to an abomination, and a temptation to the souls of men, and a snare to the feet of the unwise.
And so God's judgment will fall on pagan idols, because, even though they are made from something God created, they became horrible things that trap the souls of foolish people.
Therefore upon even the idols of the nations shall a judgment come, since they became abominable among God’s works, Snares for human souls and a trap for the feet of the senseless.
Therefore, a visitation will overtake even the idols of the nations because among the creatures of God they have become an abomination, a scandal for human souls, and a pitfall for the feet of the foolish.
